Equality Objectives and Public Sector Equality Duty

Our duty

As a public body we must have due regard to the need to eliminate discrimination, advance equality of opportunity and foster good relations (the Public Sector Equality Duty, Equality Act 2010). We publish information showing how we comply each year, and equality objectives at least every four years.

Annual evidence of compliance: 2025/26

To be confirmed by school: add dated evidence for 2025/26. This could include the profile of children on roll by protected characteristic (reported proportionately), outcomes for groups, staff training, and actions taken on accessibility and inclusion.

Equality Objectives 2026–2030

To be confirmed by school: the Equality Objectives 2022–2026 have expired. Governors should approve new objectives for 2026–2030 and publish them here.
