This enables us to provide a daily fresh fruit snack, a wide selection of ingredients so that children can enjoy cooking as a whole class or in small groups as well as ingredients for our daily messy play activities such a playdough, slime, cornflour or shaving foam. These activities are vital for children’s sensory and fine motor skills which all need to be developed before a child learns to write.

Admission of disabled children
- How we admit disabled children: disabled children are admitted on the same basis as all other children, in line with our admissions policies. We never refuse a place because of a disability.
- Preventing less favourable treatment: before a child starts, we meet families, carry out home visits and plan any reasonable adjustments. Our SENCO works with outside agencies to put support in place.
- Facilities to help access: see our SEND page and Accessibility Plan.
